I was blessed with 4 wonderful grandchildren:
Joshua, Natalie, Alex, and Nathan.

Two of them, Joshua and Alex, have Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a serious
degenerative disease for which there is no cure or treatment.

Along with some help, I began collecting and recieving donated, used books from our
family, friends, and even total strangers (you know who you are and thank you so much).
I began selling the books to help raise funds for Joshua and Alex's
special needs, not covered by other means.

In addition to those books donated, I started purchasing thousands of used books too.
After a few months of doing this, the house began to look like a used book store!
The light went on and I made the decision to...
yes...open up "Auggie Snows Quality Used Books."

Our goal here is to provide book lovers with affordable, quality, used books.
In doing so, we can not only continue to spread a passion for books,
but also help Joshua and Alex, fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy!
